This past week, the level of support I have received from the community has been nothing short of amazing. The feedback I have received from Oak Ridgers during my door-to-door campaigning, at my Secret City Festival booth and at my first official public appearances confirms what we all know – Oak Ridgers are beyond ready for REAL change!
Another critical development that has come about this past week has been the solidification of my core message. Everyone wants fiscal responsibility. But that, in and of itself, is not enough. If we are going to increase revenues, we’ve got to become competitive. Look for my upcoming column entitled, “Let’s Be #7!”

As simple as it seems, I cannot emphasize enough how important these types of grass root activities are to our success. YOU are important. YOU can make a difference.
