Council’s next regular meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 11th at 7:00p.m. at the Municipal Building. Significant items include:
- A resolution supporting the Horizon Center as part of the IDB’s effort to maintain the center’s designation as a TN certified site
- A resolution to continue/extend the TN Oversight Agreement between DOE and the State of TN
- A resolution awarding an agreement with Jacobs Engineering for $98,250 to evaluate water treatment plant
- Public Hearing of the CDBG Annual Action Plan
See the agenda packet here for complete details. All citizens are afforded a minimum of 3 minutes to speak to council at the beginning of the meeting to any subject not on the agenda. All citizens are also afforded a minimum of 3 minutes to speak to each and every item on the agenda.
Results from the March meeting are found here. A special meeting was held on March 29th to vote on the DOE water contract. The results of that meeting, including a disclosure that residential and commercial rates are set to increase in the coming months, are discussed here.
